The ECG Barometer is a tool used for quality development.

Developed by AK Auditors,  it’s a useful contribution  for Auditors in the first place, and for the Matrix Development Team and the  AK Consultants as well in order to improve the evaluation process within the ECG Accounting standard preparation.

As Auditors, we call this  Evaluation standardisation process “Calibration”. This implies a coordination within the interpretation of the handbook, with the goal of reaching similar assessments.

This requires:

• precise selection of the criteria
• justified classification and order of the evaluation steps
• conscious and optimal application of the report contributions, evaluations and assessments.

Those who use this tool also file a declaration stating that they will not publicly spread any of the obtained information. The shared information will only be used within the three previously mentioned members.
